Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
