TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. None of this make it safe. It should factor into how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
