TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade - The Short Version

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

The Software

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
